Collier County Parks and Recreation Department has achieved reaccreditation by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). Parks and Recreation passed all 151 standards with a perfect score making them one of only 154 park and recreation agencies in the country to currently hold national accreditation. More Information

Collier County Parks and Recreation has been awarded the 2010 Florida Recreation and Park Association’s Agency Excellence Award. This award recognizes and honors the state’s most outstanding Community Park, Recreation and/or Leisure Service agency for excellence in Parks and Recreation management. More Information
Freedom Park Team Project of the Year Award
Freedom Park received the Team Project of the Year Award for 2009 from the Florida Association of County Engineers and Road Superintendents (FACERS) on July 2, 2010, in Tampa. More Information
