Volunteering through Collier County Parks and Recreation is a rewarding way to make a positive impact in your community. Through our programs, volunteers increase their social network/make new friends, share their existing skill sets, mentor others, learn new skills, stay physically and socially active, earn service learning hours and more, all while taking an active role in their community recreation programs. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, flexible schedules, volunteer training and recognition events.
Volunteer opportunities vary based on the needs of each location, but are offered at park locations throughout Collier County. Volunteers go through background screening annually.
If you wish to volunteer complete the volunteer application below. Volunteer applications are active for 12 months unless you have volunteered within 30 days of the expiration date. Upon completion of your volunteer application and parent permission form, you will be required to attend a volunteer training session and return your Volunteer Staff Handbook acknowledgement before you may participate.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to participate. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit a Parental Permission Form.
