- Time: 2.0 Job Functions – Percentage Justification The majority of my role (approximately 90%) is dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing strategic communications, marketing initiatives, and public engagement efforts that support organizational priorities. These responsibilities include planning and executing major campaigns, coordinating high-profile events and programs, managing media and community relations, developing promotional materials, and collaborating with leadership and multiple departments to ensure consistent messaging and successful service delivery. The remaining 10% of my time supports administrative, reporting, and coordination functions necessary to sustain operational efficiency. This includes tracking project outcomes, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, maintaining communication schedules, and providing logistical support to ensure programs and initiatives are executed effectively. This distribution accurately reflects the primary focus of my role on strategic program planning, implementation, and organizational support. 3.0 Job Factors Leadership My role requires me to oversee, plan, and implement major programs, initiatives, and communication strategies that support organizational goals and public engagement. I independently manage projects from concept through execution, coordinate with internal departments and external partners, and ensure alignment with executive priorities. I regularly report progress, outcomes, and recommendations to leadership and contribute to strategic planning efforts that influence how programs and services are delivered across the organization. Working Conditions I operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires continuous responsiveness to changing priorities, timelines, and community needs. My responsibilities involve managing multiple concurrent projects, supporting time-sensitive initiatives, and adapting communication strategies to address evolving organizational goals and public expectations. This role demands flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to quickly adjust plans while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with leadership direction. Complexity My position involves professional-level work requiring advanced coordination of data, people, and technology to support administrative and managerial objectives. I analyze program information, develop strategic messaging, manage digital and traditional communication platforms, and coordinate complex projects and events. The role requires independent judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to support effective decision-making, program promotion, and service delivery. Decision Making I make independent decisions that guide my daily work as well as the implementation of projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. My decisions directly influence communication strategies, project timelines, resource utilization, and how services and programs are presented to internal and external audiences. These decisions impact operational effectiveness, public perception, and the organization’s ability to successfully deliver services and meet community expectations. Relationships My work involves regular coordination and collaboration with multiple divisions, managers, and external partners to achieve organizational goals. I manage projects that require cross-functional cooperation, maintain professional relationships with leadership and stakeholders, and serve as a key liaison to ensure alignment, consistency, and efficiency across initiatives. Strong working relationships are essential to successfully implementing programs, supporting departmental objectives, and advancing the organization’s mission..m. - 8:00 p.m.
