This event, organized by our dedicated team of volunteers, promises a day brimming with both enjoyment and educational experiences focused on the captivating world of butterflies.

The Butterfly Spring Fest will take place on  March 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Conner Park, 111th Avenue North, North Collier Regional Park, 15000 Livingston Road, and Sugden Regional Park, 4284, Avalon Drive. This immersive event is designed to offer participants a firsthand understanding of the intrinsic value of butterflies while emphasizing the significance of conservation efforts in preserving these delicate creatures. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. visitors will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, including:

Self-Guided Tours: Embark on captivating tours through our lush gardens to observe these mesmerizing creatures in their natural habitat, witnessing their grace and beauty up close. Learn along the way about different butterflies.

Butterfly Wishing Tree: Embodies the collective commitment and aspirations for our environment and pollinators.

At the heart of this event lies the recognition of butterflies as more than just exquisite creatures; they serve as flagships for conservation, symbolizing the delicate balance of our environment.

“We aim to foster a deeper appreciation for these magnificent creatures and inspire action towards their preservation,” says Connie Nagele (Butterfly Garden Program Lead)  “Through this event, we hope to instill a sense of wonder about butterflies and empower our community to join hands in their conservation.”
