Immokalee Sports Complex Project Update

Sports Field Lighting Upgrade
Scope: Collier County Parks & Recreation has initiated a lighting enhancement project for the soccer fields at Immokalee Sports Complex. All three fields are scheduled to receive upgraded lighting systems.
Impact: During construction, one field will be temporarily closed for approximately two weeks at a time to allow for safe and efficient installation.
Status: Project start dates and field availability will be communicated as details are finalized.
Sports Field Turf Conversion
Scope: As part of continued improvements at Immokalee Sports Complex, Collier County is converting two of the three playing fields from natural grass to high-performance artificial turf.
Impact: All fields will be closed for the duration of the construction period to ensure safety and project efficiency.
Status: Permitting in progress.
Estimated Construction Start: August 2026
Estimated Construction Completion: May 2027
The Immokalee sports complex boast a total of 3 lighted multipurpose fields, with spectator bleachers. A newly resurfaced indoor gymnasium which can be utilized for basketball, volleyball, & futsal. We have a brand fitness center that has been remodeled in the last year with all new state of the art equipment. The complex also has 1 competition pool with 6 lap lanes, a water slide, & 1 diving board. In addition we also have a new resurfaced & designed activity pool with a zero depth entry that slope to 1ft 6 ins. In the facility we also have restrooms, showers, & lockers for personal belongings. The sports complex is unique in its design because of the fact that we have it all under one roof. Whether that be if you’re looking to lounge on the pool deck with family & friends or simply play a few pickup games in the indoor basketball gym.

Cold Weather Policy:
If the temperature is 59 degrees or below, the park may close water facilities. To confirm, if it is open during the winter months, call ahead.
The fitness center has a variety of Precor fitness machines. 2 flat bench presses, 1 incline bench press, 1 decline bench press, 3 adjustable benches and a smith machine. Dumbbells that go from 5lbs-125lbs. 2 squat racks, leg press, 2 stair climbers, 8 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 stationary bikes, 2 cable cross over machines and many more.
