And as the years roll on things only get better as there will be much more in store for family fun in Naples. We’re talking about Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park. Phase one of Collier County’s newest 150-acre regional park, located at 810 39th Avenue, N.E., Naples, FL is nearly done.
Some of the highlights in phase one, which are now open is the state-of-the-art massive playground, that features various slides, cable bridges, zip lines, monkey bars, climbing stations, ramps, and therapeutic, tire and strap swings. The hand-built playground also has solar-powered charging stations and lots of shade. A large, colorful castle for kids to explore serves as a centerpiece. This is the biggest playground in Collier County. The open-air multipurpose event lawn with stage that can be used events, expos, and community gatherings. Other amenities that are open at Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park are 6 pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, 2 outdoor basketball courts, 2 softball fields, 2 concession pavilions, 2 natural turf multi-purpose fields, 2 artificial turf
Our 22,641-square-foot community center includes a ballroom, community room, kitchen, a room for afterschool programs and youth camps, a VPK daycare room and office space, which will be utilized for programs, events, and local meetings. The 8,686 square-foot aquatic complex consists of waterslides, a competition pool with diving boards, a family pool with interactive features, and a toddler pool. The aquatic complex also has a pool pavilion which is available for parties. Wellness programs will feature a variety of water exercise classes. Collier County and its partners will provide a full slate of swim lessons and water safety classes for all ages. A National Fitness Campaign Court located outdoors provides a variety of workouts. The amenity has an app for your smart phone that allows you to participate and guides you during your work out so you can track your progress. The Grand Opening for Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park is planned for Summer 2023.

The Aquatic Complex is a fantastic draw for both adults and children. Numerous swimming aerobic, and general lessons are offered throughout the year in instructed classes.
Aquatic Facility has a 25-yard by 25-meter heated pool, a children’s activity pool, a wading pool, a 177-foot open slide, a 122-foot closed slide, one 1-meter springboards and one 3-meter springboard.
Cold Air and Water Temperature Practice
During winter months, Collier County Aquatic Facilities uses cold air and water temperature standards to ensure patron safety.
