Pennies No Longer Accepted

Effective August 1, 2026, the Collier County Parks & Recreation Division will no longer accept U.S. one-cent coins (pennies) as payment. This change follows the U.S. government's decision to end production of new pennies.

Please use one of the following payment methods:

• Checks are only accepted by mail or at Aquatic Centers.
• Bills and U.S. coins (excluding pennies), are only accepted at Aquatic Centers.
• Credit or debit cards
